Buying & delivery terms — draft

Proposed straightforward buying terms: written quotes, clear total costs, confirmed stock and delivery, no hidden charges and fair returns.

Draft updated:

1. Know who you are buying from

Before payment, the written quote must identify the legal seller, business contact, sale unit, quantity, condition and any selected option. The catalog partner is not automatically your contractual seller. The storefront is primarily for business buyers and resellers; a person who qualifies as a consumer keeps all applicable consumer protections.

2. Clear prices and no hidden charges

UK catalog prices are in GBP; EU catalog prices are in EUR. They are snapshots, not a reservation or final quote. An absent price means a quote is required, never free goods. Before you commit, receive one itemised total showing goods, delivery, applicable VAT and any genuinely necessary agreed charges. Do not pay while VAT or the final total is unclear. No proposed account-opening fee, mandatory subscription or undisclosed handling fee applies.

3. Start with the quantity you actually need

You should not have to buy a truckload merely to enquire or compare stock. The proposed minimum is the smallest sale unit actually offered for that listing, subject to supplier confirmation. A pallet, box, fixed pack and truckload are different units. Availability, minimum quantity and exact contents must be confirmed before payment; discounts or smaller split quantities are not guaranteed.

4. Practical delivery, agreed before payment

The UK warehouse route delivers within the UK. The EU route dispatches from Germany within the EU, not to the UK. Current single-pallet estimates are £69 for the UK or €89 for the EU; they are not guaranteed quotes and their VAT treatment is unconfirmed. Multiple pallets and truckloads need a separate quote. Confirm postcode, dimensions, weight, access, unloading and any remote-area charge. Offer the least expensive suitable delivery option available; collection is an option only if the warehouse confirms it.

5. Honest condition and contents

Request current photos, a manifest where available, testing information and a written record of known faults or missing parts. Untested does not mean working. No substitution or material change should be made without your agreement. Advertised retail value is not a resale-profit guarantee. Agreed, specifically disclosed defects are different from undisclosed faults or goods that do not match the agreed description.

6. Confirm first, then pay

A shortlist or copied enquiry is not an order and reserves no stock. Payment is currently unavailable on this site. Once sales are enabled, the seller must confirm stock, the final total, secure payment instructions and the delivery window in writing. Do not send money to unverified details. A confirmed order may not be repriced without your consent; if it cannot be fulfilled as agreed, offer an agreed alternative or refund money paid for unfulfilled goods, subject to mandatory rights.

7. Simple cancellation and fair returns

The proposed approach is cancellation without an administration fee before dispatch. After dispatch, use the returns policy rather than an arbitrary cancellation penalty. Any bespoke or specially sourced exception must be explained and agreed before ordering and must not override consumer rights. No automatic restocking fee is proposed. The returns policy explains which delivery costs may be refundable and who pays return transport.
